The event was also part of the Urban Ecology Summer School led by RCC alumni Seth Peabody and Kiley Kost, professors from Carleton College, United States.

Christof Mauch is the director and co-founder of the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society. He is Professor of Environmental Humanities at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany.
