This volume of RCC Perspectives contains an English and a German version of a speech made by RCC Director Christof Mauch in 2009. In his speech, Mauch outlines the purpose of the Rachel Carson Center and argues for the importance of studying environmental history.
Diese Ausgabe der RCC Perspectives beinhaltet die deutsche, sowie die englische Version einer Rede, die der RCC-Direktor Christof Mauch 2009 hielt. In seiner Rede skizzierte Prof. Mauch die Aufgaben des Rachel Carson Centers und unterstrich dabei auch Wichtigkeit des Themengebiets Umweltgeschichte an sich.
