[093] noch nicht klar in dieser Sache, und unter den jetzigen Reise-Verhältnissen komme ich auch wohl nicht dazu, sie konsequent durchzudenken. – Heute haben wir ca 16 km zurückgelegt, obwohl der Rote im Anfange sehr wenig versprach. Es war fast den ganzen Tag über windstill, der schwache Luftzug, der hin und wieder auftrat, hatte ganz beliebige Richtung. Die Sonne brannte ganz infernalisch, so daß ich mir schließlich ein Taschentuch vor das Gesicht hängen mußte.

The wind remained still almost all day, and the light breeze we experienced every now and then came randomly from different directions.
