About this collection
The Archival Gems collection features digitized treasures ranging from the 16th century to the present day. The early modern broadsheets depict natural disasters and wild animals from collections of the Bavarian State Library. Publications and ephemera from the radical environmental movement Earth First! reveal the trajectories and offshoots of a movement that arose in 1980 and is still going strong in 19 countries. Selected images and material from Arcadia and our Virtual Exhibitions are also featured in this unique, growing collection.
