Due to disagreements about the journal’s content and the broader strategy of the EF! movement, David Foreman retired from Earth First! in 1988; several other members of the original EF! collective followed his example in subsequent years. This issue of the rebooted journal features reports on direct action campaigns in the United States and the United Kingdom, criticisms of President Clinton’s Forest Plan, and updates on Peg Millett and Mark Davis, two EF!ers who were arrested during an FBI sting operation in 1989.
