Thank You Third World is a multimedia campaign that reveals the implicitness with which the Western World consumes products produced in subhuman conditions in the Global South. There is no underlying charity organization and no possibility to calm one’s conscience through donations—but rather a lot of room for discussions. The official film website allows the public to upload photos of their favorite products from the “third world” and to combine it with a thank you note to the people who relinquish food, money, and freedom in order to let us live like we live.
