”Well, do you all really got something to say, or do you want to write the editorial because you’re all in the same room and you all have vaginas?” […] an impulsive comment, maybe meant as a stupid joke, and self-doubt arises: I’m a little less enthusiastic, a little less sure; do I really have something to say? […] We can no longer accept the denial of the power of the patriarchy over our lives. We, as women, continue in this struggle daily. We sometimes silence our voice when we’re asked if we really have something to say. You’re goddamn right we have something to say!
