International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources

The International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) was founded in 1948. It has become the world’s largest conservation organization, concentrating primarily on the protection and conservation of nature. Its goal is to ensure that any use of natural resources is carried out in a fair and ecologically sustainable manner.
